XLVII OPEN International Chess of Barberà del Vallès 2025

1) This tournament is open to all players with a federal license.
2) Playing venue: c / Torre d’En Gorgs, 40 in Barberà del Vallès. Game hours: 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

3) Group A: Open to FIDE-licensed players and Rating more than 1950.
Group B: Open to FIDE-licensed and Rating-fide players until 2099.
a. The order of the Rating that will be used will be FIDE / FEDA / FCE. All other local or national Rating will be validated by the Organizing Committee.
b. The player who expressly participates in a group that is not in his section, renounces to score for his section.
c. Rhythm of the game:
— Group A 90 min + 30 sec. / play.
— Group B 90 min + 30 sec ./play.

4) The tournament will be played by the Swiss system and in two groups, from the 4th to the 12th of July 2025.
5) The matches will be made using the “Swiss Manager” software and will be official from 9:00 on the day of the round.
6) Ties: Ties in the final standings will be resolved by the following systems: Will be
applied as first and second tie (Draw at the end of the tournament):

● Medium Bucholtz with virtual player FIDE adjustment.
● Total Bucholtz with virtual player FIDE adjustment.

Cash prizes will not be distributed among the tied.

7) The Tournament Organizing Committee will be made up of the Barberà Chess Club Board of Directors, the Director, Deputy Director,

8) Any dispute that arises will be resolved by the Chief Referee and in the second instance by the Competition Committee.
9) Payment for registration must be made before the second round. The organization reserves, for reasonable reasons, the right to admit
or reject a registration.
10) The regulations on mobile phones will be those of FIDE. If it sounds and / or answers it will be the loss of the point; and if he only

16) Tournament participants authorize the publication of their personal data and sports results in different media that the organization
