The United Arab Emirates Chess Federation is pleased to invite you to participate in the
UAE International Youth Chess Cup2026, which will be held in Dubai from 24 to 31 August
2026.

This tournament is considered a distinguished international Open event aimed at
supporting young chess talents and enhancing sports and cultural exchange among
participating countries.

Tournament Regulations

• The tournament will be played under the Swiss System over 9 rounds.
• The tournament shall be governed by the FIDE Laws of Chess.
• Players are not allowed to agree to a draw before Black has completed 20 moves.
• The default time for lateness is 30 minutes from the scheduled start of the round.
• Recording of moves is mandatory.
• The use or possession of electronic devices inside the playing hall is strictly prohibited.

Time Control

The tournament shall be played with a time control of 45 minutes for each player for the
entire game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.

Entry Fees

• Registration Fee: USD 30 (AED 110) per participant.
• Visa Fee: AED 150 = US$40 per person upon request.
• Passport copies and a personal photo must be submitted before 1st August 2026.

• Single Room: AED 310 / USD 85 per night
• Double Room: AED 400 / USD 110 per night
The rates include full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
