The 5th «Boyi Cup» China Youth Chess International Open Tournament

PARTICIPANTS

Chess players under the age of 25 (inclusive) from all member countries of the
World Chess Federation (FIDE), sex not limited;

Both Group A and B shall be conducted as a Swiss System of 9 rounds. The time control is 90 minutes with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one for Group A; 60 minutes with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one for Group B.

For players without an international chess federation ID, please download the attached ID application form, fill it out as required, and send it along with the registration form to the registration email.

The committee will arrange personal accident insurance for all participating players during the competition. Please make sure to fill in all the information on the registration form in detail.

The all-Chinese final of the FIDE Women’s Candidates will be held in Chongqing, China from March 27 2023 until April 06 2023.

The final stage of the tournament will be played between GM Tan Zhongyi and GM Lei Tingjie over the distance of 6 games.

The International Chess Federation and Chess.com announce the Online Nations Cup, a team competition held May 5-10, 2020. Six teams are due to take part in this competition: Russia, USA, Europe, China, India, plus a team representing the «Rest of the World.»

This epoch-making battle draws some similarities with golf’s Ryder Cup, or with the 1970 «USSR vs. Rest of the World» chess match-up that made headlines in Bobby Fischer’s heyday. But the new «match of the century» will be more global, entirely online, and also gender-inclusive, since the team line-ups must include at least one female player.

A retired legend, Garry Kasparov, will be the captain for the European team, while his former world championship rival, Vishwanathan Anand, will defend the first board of the Indian team.
