and the International Chess Federation (FIDE), has the honour of inviting all Asian National
Chess Federations to participate in the 28th Asian Youth Chess Championships, to be held
in Shenzhen, China, from 15th July 2026 (arrival) to 25th July 2026 (departure).

The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation
and FIDE invites National Chess Federations of Western Asian region to participate in the
Western Asia Junior Chess Championship to be held from 15th to 23rd of July 2024 in Sri Lanka.

Participation

1. Entitled to participate are Chess players from Western Asian Chess Federations (Zones 3.1,
3.2, 3.4, 3.7& 3.8) affiliated to the Asian Chess Federation. The participants must not have
reached their 20th birthday, respectively, before January 1st, 2024.
1.1 Each county may register one official player each and any number of additional players to
participate in the U-20 for Boys and Girls.
Under 20: Born on or after 1st Jan 2004
1.2 In case there are fewer than ten players and Five Federations among girls, it shall be
merged with the open boys group.

Participation

1. Entitled to participate are Chess players from Western Asian Chess Federations
(Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 3.7 & 3.8) affiliated to the Asian Chess Federation.
The participant must not have reached their 8th, 10th,12th, 14th, 16th, 18th birthday,
respectively, before January 1st, 2024.

1.1 Each county may register one official player and any number of additional players to
participate in the U-8, U-10, U-12, U- 14, U-16 and U-18 for Boys and Girls.

Under 8: Born on or after 1 st Jan 2016
Under 10: Born on or after 1st Jan 2014
Under 12: Born on or after 1 st Jan 2012
Under 14: Born on or after 1st Jan 2010
Under 16: Born on or after 1st Jan 2008
Under 18: Born on or after 1st Jan 2006

1.2 In case there are fewer than ten players and Five Federations in an age group, that group
shall be merged with another group.

The UAE Chess Federation (UAE CF) on behalf of FIDE and the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) invites all Asian National Chess Federations to participate in the Asian Amateur Chess Championship, to be held in Dubai – UAE from 27th August 2023 (arrival) to 4th September 2023 (departure).

Participation

1.1 The Asian Amateur Championships 2023 is open to all Asian amateur players, registered by their federation, who should not have a FIDE rating above 2000 at the start of the tournament.

1.2 Players should not have a FIDE title higher than FIDE Master (i.e., WIM, WGM, IM and GM).

1.3 All participants must have a FIDE ID to participate in this tournament.

To All FIDE Affiliated Chess Federations in Asia Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 & 3.7

All Kazakhstan Chess Federation on behalf of the Asian Chess Federation and FIDE invites your Federation to participate in the Asian Continental Chess Championships (Open and Women’s) from 3rd June (arrival) to 12th June (departure) 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Playing venue is Baluan Sholak Sports Palace, Address: Abay Ave 44 Abai Ave., corner Baitursynuly St., Almaty.

The Championship will be played in accordance with the following rules and regulations:

Each Federation from FIDE Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7 can include one official player in the Open and one official player in the Women’s Championships.

In addition, each Federation may add extra players rated 2300 and above for the Open, and 2000 and above for Women based on the 1st May 2023 FIDE Rating List. Extra players will be responsible for the payment of their board and lodging through the Organizing Committee. Exceptions for the rating floor may be made by the Continental President at the request of national federations.

The tournament shall be conducted as a Swiss System competition of 9 rounds and will be played according to FIDE regulations.

The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one. The games shall be played with DGT clocks. Pairings will be made by the Swiss Manager Program. Players from the same federation with a more than 50% score shall not be paired together in the last round.

The Kyrgyzstan Chess Federation (Kyrgyz Chess Union), under the auspices of the Asian
Chess Federation and FIDE, invites national chess federations in the region to participate in
the Western Asia Juniors and Girls Chess Championship and Western Asian Juniors and
Girls Rapid and Blitz Championships, which will be held in Korumdu, Issyk-Kul,
Kyrgyzstan. This event will be held from 5th September (arrival) and 15th September
(departure).

Participation

1. Entitled to participate are chess players from Western Asia federations (Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.4
and 3.7). The participant must not have reached his 20th birthday before January 1st 2022.
1.1 Each Western Asia federations can register only one official Player in each category
(maximum of 2 official players). The Organizer shall provide free board and lodging at the
official hotel to one player in each category per Federation on double or triple sharing basis.

1.2 Each Western Asia Federations may register any number of additional players to
participate in the U-20 championship for Boys and Girls and any number of accompanying
persons but only upon confirmation of availability by the OC. The national federation shall
be responsible for the costs of their additional players and accompanying persons.
1.3 In case there are fewer than ten girls and five federations, that group shall be merged with
the boys. Titles can be awarded to the best player(s) of the subgroups, provided the subgroup
has at least 6 participants from at least 3 federations and the player scores a minimum of 50%
in played games over the full number of rounds.

Registration and Entry Fee

8.1 The registration form must be filled by National Chess Federation officials and delivered
to the OC before the registration deadline.
8.2 Each participant shall register to OC by the 22nd August 2022, which is the
Registration deadline. The participant must pay a registration fee, which is compulsory and
represents a confirmation of participation and includes accreditation and transportation from
and to Manas International Airport and the official hotel.
Please submit registration form and passport copy by deadline date.

8.3 A registration fee to the Organizing Committee of US$100 is required for each player
and accompanying person. An entry fee of $75 is required for the first player and $150 for
each additional player. This must be paid to the Organizing Committee at the moment of
registration. All fees must be paid by 22nd August 2022.
8.4 The OC reserves the rights to refuse or decline a late registration, or accepting if there is
availability with a penalty of USD 50 for each entry.
8.5 All players and participants of event should stay at the official hotel – “Solemar”. 50%
(fifty percent) of prepayment of the cost for board and lodging for the additional players and
accompanying persons (hotel at full board basis) must be paid by the deadline of 22nd August.

Venue & Hotel – Board & Lodging

6.1 The Official Hotel (3 stars) is Solemar Recreation Center. The Official Venue is the
Solemar arena.
6.2 Federations should book through the Organizing Committee. Selection will be done by
the OC on first come first served basis.
6.3 Official players and one HOD are offered full board accommodation from 5th
September 2022 (arrival) to 15th September 2022 (departure). Any additional dates
will be charged at full rate of the hotel subject to availability. Hotel Rates for
additional players and accompanying persons on full board basis are as below:
