17th Asian Schools Chess Championships 2023 Open & Girls
under 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 & 17 Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The Uzbekistan Chess Federation under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and the
World Chess Federation (FIDE), has the honour of inviting all Asian National Chess Federations to
participate in the 17th Asian Schools Chess Championships to be organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
from 13th (arrival) to 21st July (departure) 2023.

1. General Rules & Regulations

The Championships shall be governed by the General Regulations for FIDE Competitions and the Rules.

2. Participation

2.1 There shall be 6 categories; namely Under-07, Under-09 Under-11, Under-13, Under15 and
Under-17 with separate events for Open and Girls.
2.2 Entitled to participate are players who shall not have reached the age of 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17 before 1 January 2023:

Under-07: Born on or after 1 January 2016
Under-09: Born on or after 1 January 2014
Under-11: Born on or after 1 January 2012
Under-13: Born on or after 1 January 2010
Under-15: Born on or after 1 January 2008
Under-17: Born on or after 1 January 2006

2.3. Every Asian National Chess Federation can register one official player in each category (open/girls)
under 7,9,11,13,15,17, totaling a maximum of 12 players. No substitution from other categories can be
made in case there is no official player in any category. One Head of delegation is allowed to
participate, his accommodation and board are covered by the organizer.
2.4. Invited national Chess Federations shall have the right to send as many additional players as they
wish but they are responsible for all their own expenses.
2.5 In case there are fewer than ten players and five federations in an age group, that group shall
be merged with another group.
2.6 Registration is available only through the national federations. Individual registrations won’t be
accepted. All participants need to have FIDE ID for registration.
2.7 Invited national Chess Federations might also send their participants to the special group Under-05.
There are no invited players to this group. Special play conditions might be introduced for this group.

3. Financial Regulations

3.1 Entry Fee: The Entry Fee is 75 USD for official players and 150USD for additional players has to be
paid till 13th June 2023. After the deadline of 13
th June 2023, the surcharge for late entries of USD 50 per
person shall be applicable.
3.2 Registration Fee: According to the regulations all players and accompanying persons must pay a
registration fee of 100 USD to the organizer.
3.3 Payment deadline for hotel is June 13th, 2023. 50% prepayment for the hotel accommodation shall
be transferred to organizers till the deadline. Incomplete registrations will not be accepted.

2022 Asia-Oceania University Chess Championship December 17th to 26th on Tornelo

National University Sports Federation of Iran (IUSF) and the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) invite National University Sports Federations in Asia and Oceania to participate in the 2022 Asia-Oceania University Chess Championship from 17th to 24th December 2022, which is supported by Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and International Chess Federation (FIDE) and Iran Chess Federation (ICF).

2. Eligibility

All players must satisfy the following conditions in order to participate in the AUCC:

2.1 be full-time students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towardsadegree or diploma at the university or similar institute whose status is recognizedbytheappropriate national academic authority of their country or regions;
2.2 be former students who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the precedingyear;
2.3 be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st in the year of the AUCC(bornfrom 1
st January 1994 to 31
st December 2004). Each federation may enter one (1) team (a combined team or a university team) per gender. Each team consists of four (4) players, and one (1) official as the Head of the Delegation. Forthe team events, each federation may enter at a maximum of one (1) foreign student whodoesn’t hold the citizenship of the Country/Region he/she represents and is eligibleasregulated by Article 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3. The Head of the Delegation will be the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the OrganizingCommittee in any communication and discussion. For the individual event, each federation may enter up to four (4) players in the team.

3. Registration

3.1 The entries of AUCC shall be submitted by the National University Sports FederationsinAsia and the players shall be registered by their respective National Chess Federations. Noregistration/participation fee is required for this event. To complete the registration, all required materials must be sent to the Organizing Committee, and copied to AUSF (ausf@ausf.org) no later than:
 17th September — General Entry Form
 17th October — Quantitative Entry Form
 17th November — Individual Entry, Academic Eligibility and Information Collectionform, a valid passport or ID copy (with English translation)

4. Tournament Regulations

4.1. The tournament will take place on Tornelo platform. The use of Zoomis mandatoryforall players during all games. The Organizing Committee will set up the platforms foreach match with the supervision of arbiters. 4.2. Players may go to toilet between rounds and should be ready for the next round, returntotheir seat and wait for the Arbiter to start the round. Each round shall start after postingof pairings on signal by the Chief Arbiter. 4.3. Instructions to Players shall be provided for the online platform. Please do not playunofficial games in between rounds during the tournament. 5. System of Play
The tournament shall be run as 9-round tournaments for Men and for Women using the SwissSystem. Players from the same team will not be paired together. If there are few teams in the women’s group, that group shall be merged and the awardgivento the best team of that group.

6th Eastern Asia (ASEAN) Youth Chess Championship

4-13 November 2022, Bangkok, Thailand

Thailand Chess Association (TCA) under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF)
and International Chess Federation (FIDE) invites regional chess federations (Zone 3.3 and
China) to participate in the 6th Eastern Asia (ASEAN) Youth Chess Championship, to be held
in Bangkok, Thailand, from 4th November (Arrival) — 13th November (Departure) 2022.

Tournament Rules and Regulations

1. Eligibility and Participation
1.1. Entitled to participate are chess players from Eastern Asia federations (Zone 3.3
member federations and China).
1.2. Each Eastern Asia Federation (Zone 3.3 member federations and China) can register
only ONE official player in each category (organizer provides them free full
accommodation in double rooms).
1.3. Each federation may register any number of additional players. These players will
cover their board and lodging by themselves.
1.4. Players must not have reached the relevant age before 1st January 2022. See table
below. In case there are fewer than ten players and five federations in an age group,
that group shall be merged with another age group. Players under 6 (born on or
after 1st Jan 2016) shall have a special category.

Студенты МУИТ представят Казахстан на Чемпионате Азии среди университетов.

Сборная Казахстана представленная студентами МУИТ заняла 7 место в командном зачете на онлайн чемпионате Азии .

Девушки выступали в личном зачете.

Наших ребят опередили сборные Индии, Ирана, Малайзии, Индонезии, Китая и Сингапура.

Сборная МУИТ благодарит руководство университета за полную поддержку команды в организации и проведении онлайн чемпионата Азии. Благодарим лично ректора МУИТ Хикметова Аскара Кусупбековича за поддержку студенческого спорта!
