FIDE-RATED «STEINITZ OPEN” INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT
The toumament will take place from May 21 to 24, 2026, at ASA Arena (formerly the
Clrcus).
Total Prize Fund: MNT 54,000,000.
The Stelnitz Mongolian Chess Academy is organizing this toumament with the aim of promoting professional
chess and expanding social chess. In this edition, the prize fund has been increased, management has been
improved, and innovative ideas have been incorporated.
The event is conducted in accordance with the regulations of FIDE, in cooperation with the leadership, council,
and committees of the Mongolian Chess Federation, and is designed to deliver a world-class toumament to players
at an affordable cost.
Participants will play 11 rounds under standard time control in their home country,
enabling them to prepare for continental and world-leval competitions, gain or improve
their intemational rating, achieve title norrns, and pursue intemational titles.
