Tournament info Individual tournament with opportunities for WIM, WGM, IM and GM norms.
Format FIDE Dutch Swiss, accelerated, 9 rounds
Fairplay The tournament is conducted in accordance with FIDE’s regulations. All participants commit to following guidelines that the tournament management deems necessary to prevent and counteract cheating.
Agreed bye It is possible to arrange for a bye (draw) worth 0.5 points, two times during the first 6 rounds, as long as at least 1 of these is in the first 2 rounds. This must be agreed upon in writing before the start of round 1 of the tournament and does not apply to players receiving support for travel, accommodation, or entry fees from the event.
Attendanse Each player is required to be in the playing area before 1 hour has elapsed from the start of the clocks. Exceeding this will result in a loss of the game.
Time Control 90 minutes/ 40 moves + 30 minutes/ rest of the game, with 30 seconds increment from move 1

Prize Fund Guaranteed minimum prize fund: 100,000 NOK. We are working to increase the prize fund, and this will be updated as soon as it is finalized. A dedicated tournament page and invitations with additional information in multiple languages will be posted shortly.
