The 8th SCO International Team Chess Tournament 2026, an annual chess classic, is jointly organized by the Board and Card Games Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Chess Association, the Shanghai Sports Bureau, and the People’s Government of Qingpu District, Shanghai.

The tournament is gracefully presented by Shanghai Qi Yuan (Shanghai Board and Card Games Administrative Center), Shanghai Qingpu District Sports Bureau, and the Yingpu Subdistrict Office of the People’s Government of Qingpu District, Shanghai.

The competition features a distinguished lineup, with 13 teams participating, including China I, China II, Belarus, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, where elite minds converge upon a shared stage of collegiality and excellence.
