Open World Dutch Women TOP 10 Championships
The Royal Dutch Chess Federation (KNSB) is not only hosting the World Youth Olympiad U16. This year the KNSB celebrates their 150th birthday as oldest Chess Federation worldwide! For this unique occassion the KNSB also organizes the Open World Dutch Women Top 10 Championships.

The tournament will be held in Eindhoven from 10 to 18 August.

REGULATIONS
Rate of play
90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the remaining moves with a 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move starting from the first move. The default time (article 6.7 of the Laws of Chess) is 30 minutes.
Playing venue
All rounds will be played at the Van der Valk Hotel in Eindhoven (the Netherlands).
Short draws
We kindly ask all players to demonstrate fighting spirit. The sponsors, the organisers and the public will appreciate it. Draw agreements within 40 moves are not allowed without the permission of the Chief Arbiter.
Fair Play Measures
We apply visible and non-visible fair play measures.
Tournament winner
If the top two or more players score the same number of points in the tournament, a tiebreak to determine the tournament winner will be played and all players with this highest score will participate in these tiebreak games. Except for first place, all players with the same score will share their place.
Prize money
1st prize: EUR 3.000
2nd prize: EUR 2.000
3rd prize: EUR 1.000
In case two or more players have the same score, money prizes will be shared equally. The result of tiebreak games will not influence money prizes.
